Physiotherapist

Meet Caitlin. Caitlin Milljour’s (nee Trakalo) journey to becoming a physiotherapist started long before she started her Master’s of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Manitoba. In 2008, she was in a devastating quad accident in Corfu, Greece where she broke both of her ankles. The next 4 years involved 4 surgeries to both of her ankles, and extensive physiotherapy. Presently, there are still aches and pains that she has to live with, but she uses her education and positive attitude to ensure the best quality life is had!

Her experiences with being at the lowest low, and successfully overcoming all obstacles provides a very unique and special treatment approach. Outside of her physiotherapy practice, Caitlin enjoys travel, cooking, gardening, photography, skiing and snowboarding.

Physiotherapy Exam Candidate

Meet Shruti. I'm an internationally educated Physiotherapist, and graduated with bachelor's of Physiotherapy in 2018. Since then I have been very passionate and determined to provide my patients the best care possible.

I have been very fortunate to assess and treat a lot of patients with different conditions in a private clinic. I enjoy seeing my patients independently.

In my spare time, I love to do lots of art and craft stuff, paintings, and henna. I’m very interested in fitness as well.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

Meet Jenna. Jenna was raised in the Northern Interlake in the small town of St. Martin. She attended high school right here in town at ACS graduating in 2005.

From a young age, Jenna knew she wanted to have a profession in healthcare. After seeing a physiotherapist for sports injuries in high school and then doing some soul searching in University, it became clear that physiotherapy was the profession she was looking for.

Jenna graduated from University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy in 2010. Since then she has worked in both public and private healthcare settings and has gained a lot of valuable experience from both. Jenna holds the strong belief that you should always continue to learn and therefore has taken various courses over the years.

In 2018 Jenna realized her strong passion for pelvic floor rehabilitation and since then has completed levels 1, 2 and 3 with Pelvic Health Solutions. She is particularly passionate about pre and postnatal care and considers herself a “birth junkie”. Most recently she has completed a Labour and Delivery course to further her knowledge in pre and postnatal care as well as the option to attend births for support.

Jenna deeply values the importance of truly listening to her patients and their goals and giving them the education and methods to become independent. You can often hear her saying “I am your guide”. Other favourite quotes of hers include “motion is lotion for your joints”, “your best posture is your next posture” and “all or something”.

Administration

Meet Meghan. She's the voice on the other side of the phone and the first person you see when you come in to the clinic. Her background in hospitality and customer service has been an asset since she joined the team in 2019. She genuinely cares about each of our patients and looks forward to celebrating all of their successes.

Meghan is a “live to eat, not eat to live” kind of person, so outside of the office, she loves to try all sorts of new recipes. Often she will bring in the fruits of her labours to the office for everyone to try! (So far the reigning champ is candied hot peppers!) She can usually be found at the lake from April to October with her husband, 3 kids, and dog Gambit.
